Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Temple, Texas. The Staffing Coordinator ensures full unit staffing by managing the Shift Wizard system and adjusting staffing based on census, call-ins, and planned leaves.

This role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer as part of the Nursing Management Team. Daily duties include staffing RN, LVN, and MHT roles, maintaining scheduling business rules, and coordinating with senior leaders to align orientation and

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Two years of hospital staffing/scheduling experience preferred; health-care setting experience valuable.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license; CPR and related certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily staffing of RN, LVN, and MHT.
• Maintain business rules, administer shifts, and approve shift assignments in nurse scheduling software.
• Communicate scheduling plans with CEO, CFO, CNO and Nurse Supervisors.
