Qualifications

• Prefer current licensed LVN in applicable state.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience staffing in a 24-hour healthcare operation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience interviewing and hiring nursing staff.
• Experience using electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly schedules for all nursing departments and post in advance.
• Prepare daily sign-in sheets and monitor staffing to minimize overtime.
• Report staffing challenges to the DON promptly.
• Maintain attendance records and logs for staff.
• Manage open positions and applicant tracking.
• May conduct initial interviews and reference checks.
• Coordinate orientation and EMR training for nursing staff.
