Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc. is seeking a Nursing Staff Scheduler to coordinate staffing across multiple busy nursing units in a 24-hour skilled facility in Fairfield, CT. You will schedule RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, maintain an accurate master schedule, and ensure updated attendance records while controlling overtime and cost.

The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent time management, and the flexibility to respond quickly to interdepartmental communications. Rate is $23-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year nursing staff scheduling experience.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining timely completion.
• Ability to respond quickly to emails between departments.
• Strong persuasion skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and perform under stress.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule based off building's needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staffing for RN, LPN, and CNA across multiple busy units.
• Maintain relationships with nursing staff to promote an optimal working environment and staff retention.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain an organized workflow.
• Provide up-to-date attendance detail for employees and maintain a master schedule.
• Forward open position information to the HR Coordinator for recruitment purposes.
• Strictly manage overtime and bonus costs.
