Job summary

Ciena Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing staff and scheduling in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You\'ll support Nursing Management with essential clerical duties to maintain high quality resident care.

Responsibilities include creating schedules for RNs/LPNs and CNAs to meet mandated ratios, monitoring overtime, maintaining rosters, and coordinating with administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years office administrative experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for nursing staff to meet state mandated ratios.
• Monitor overtime and adjust staffing based on census.
• Maintain daily roster sheets and shift schedules.
• Review time clock punches with schedules.
• Retrieve, organize, and store staffing forms.
• Complete weekly staffing reports for corporate.
• Attend facility meetings and participate in continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
