Great Lakes Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team.

Purpose/Belief Statement:

The Nursing Staff Scheduler position exists to provide staffing coordination to ensure the highest quality resident care. This role involves working effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely, organized, and safe manner, focusing on quality resident care. The position also requires managing available resources.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Follow the master staffing schedule created by the DON or designee.
2. Communicate continuously with DON or designee for coordination and schedule accuracy.
3. Prepare daily staffing sheets with ongoing revisions.
4. Adhere to center policies and DON guidelines regarding staffing and use of agency/in-house pool.
5. Weekly listing of vacant nursing positions for DON.
6. Manage attendance and paid time off for nursing staff.
7. Perform administrative staffing duties and other related activities as needed.
8. Maintain compliance with departmental, center, and corporate policies and standards.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior staff scheduling experience required.
• CNA License Preferred.
