Job summary

Success Education Colleges (SEC) is seeking an Adjunct RN (Pediatrics) Clinical Instructor to lead pediatric rotations and supervise student clinicians. Candidates should integrate Caring Theory, QSEN, and the nursing process into teaching while ensuring evidence-based, safe practices.

Must hold a CA RN license and relevant nursing degree; BLS required, ACLS/PALS as needed. Availability for varying rotations and schedules is essential to support student success.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license and eligibility for BRN approval as faculty.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing required; teaching experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS as needed for pediatric rotations.

Responsibilities

• Theoretically frame clinical instruction using Jean Watson’s Caring Theory.
• Incorporate QSEN competencies throughout clinical teaching.
• Apply nursing process across student learning experiences.
• Supervise and evaluate students during clinical rotations.
• Teach evidence-based, cost-effective, safe nursing practices with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in audits, curriculum development, and quality improvement.
• Foster collaboration and mentor student research in nursing.
