Job summary

Seminole State College of Florida is seeking part-time Standardized Simulation Participants to portray patients and other individuals in scripted scenarios for instructional purposes. The role requires learning scenario fidelity, performance under guidance, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
Performing Arts experience.

Responsibilities

Train and rehearse to portray patients, family members, or healthcare providers with accurate history and physical findings.
Deliver consistent case portrayals and provide feedback to students.
Maintain confidentiality of all student encounters.
Set up props and equipment to reflect fidelity in simulation venues.
Operate high and mid-fidelity simulators to reflect patient responses.
Assist in care and storage of simulators and props used for portrayal.
Participate in evaluation processes.
Fulfil all site and position-specific responsibilities as assigned.
