Job summary

Chamberlain University seeks a Specialists to provide academic reinforcement to nursing students, preparing them for NCLEX-RN success. You will assess learning styles, tailor remediation plans, and support clinical labs and simulated patient care experiences.

Collaborating with faculty and staff, you will create remediation strategies, document progress, and help students achieve program outcomes. A BSN is required with RN license; MSN preferred; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• 2+ years of bedside nursing experience.
• Current/unencumbered RN license.
• Master's in nursing preferred.
• Experience in academic environment or tutoring preferred.
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and labs.
• Provide academic support and remediation for NCLEX-RN preparation.
• Create and implement clinically based scenarios for simulations.
• Coordinate and supervise lab experiences to meet objectives.
• Offer individual or group tutoring and outreach to at‑risk students.
• Document student progress and communicate with leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
