Job summary

Atlanta Technical College is seeking a part-time Simulation / Skill Lab Assistant to support nursing simulation labs on the main campus south of downtown Atlanta. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment, manage supplies, and coordinate lab activities under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Nursing and Related Programs.

Ideal candidates will have an allied health or IT background with strong MS Office skills, experience teaching adults, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Nursing or related field and strong MS software skills.
• Experience teaching diverse and adult learners in a lab or classroom.
• Ability to instruct students and manage administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair computerized mannequins and related hardware/software.
• Set up and break down skills labs and check-offs for students.
• Manage simulation lab equipment and student/faculty use logistics.
• Keep labs organized, clean, and well-supplied for daily activities.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and restocking of supplies.
• Support faculty with equipment maintenance and QA checks.
• Facilitate nursing skills lab practices and simulation scheduling.
