Job summary

Metro Technology Centers is seeking a Technical Assistant for the STEM/ Simulation Lab. The role supports students under the guidance of teachers, performing supplementary instruction and guided practice in nursing simulation settings.

Required qualifications include Oklahoma LPN licensure with 2 years of clinical practice; an Associate degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected as part of daily administrative tasks and equipment setup.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid unencumbered LPN license in Oklahoma.
• Two years of practice as an LPN in a clinical setting and currently in good standing.
• Associates Degree Preferred.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors with classroom demonstrations, skills practice, competency preparation, and student remediation.
• Observe students practicing skills and provide immediate, constructive feedback.
• Demonstrate nursing-assistant skills using established procedures and competency checklists.
• Prepare simulation laboratories, classrooms, and equipment before scheduled activities.
• Conduct pre-simulation equipment checks and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure equipment is returned to its assigned location.
