Job summary

Western Governors University is seeking a Simulation Technician Specialist for the Orlando Clinical Learning & Simulation Center. You will support nursing simulations, manage equipment, and ensure smooth lab operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires PC/Mac proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and experience with simulation technology. On-site work with a Monday–Friday schedule is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.
• Experience in simulation-based education preferred.
• Health care and computers/technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate simulation console and software for nursing scenarios.
• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot simulation equipment and manikins.
• Assist faculty during simulation sessions, debriefings and safety oversight.
• Manage lab supplies inventory and reporting low par levels.
• Orient students to the simulation lab and onboarding for new technicians.
• Coordinate lab space scheduling and Prelicensure Simulation activities.
• Process mail, deliveries and equipment reception, and maintain lab spaces.
