Middlesex Community College in Lowell, MA, seeks a Simulation Technician to provide operational, technical, and logistical support for the nursing program's simulation center. The position supports ACEN-aligned instruction, collaborates with faculty, and contributes to student success.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of full-time or equivalent part-time technical experience in technical support, AV tech, or lab operations.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot simulation systems and related hardware/software.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and ability to learn specialized simulation software.
Responsabilités
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-fidelity simulators and audiovisual systems.
- Prepare and run simulation activities aligned with course objectives.
- Provide real-time technical support during simulations to ensure smooth delivery.
- Collaborate with faculty to implement simulation scenarios and assessments.
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the simulation center.
