Montgomery College in Takoma Park/Silver Spring seeks a Temporary Nursing Simulation and Lab Associate to support the daily operations of the Simulation Center. The role involves setting up simulation rooms, assisting faculty and students during simulations, and supporting the Skills Lab with evidence-based practice.

This non-exempt, part-time position pays $40.00 per hour and requires a BSN, an active RN license in MD or compact state, and clinical nursing experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license in MD or compact state.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in acute care.
• Experience with medical-surgical skills (IV, Foley, wound care, central line dressing, trach care and suction).
• Familiar with electronic medical records and medication delivery methods.

Responsabilidades

• Set up simulation rooms according to templates and checklists.
• Create and distribute Zoom links for virtual components.
• Participate in simulations as a voice actor or standardized participant.
• Record observations and provide feedback to faculty.
• Maintain and troubleshoot simulation equipment.
• Assist in Skills Lab and guide nursing skill practice.
• Collaborate with Simulation Coordinator, Technician, and Lab Manager.
• Assist in onboarding new staff and faculty orientation to lab equipment.
