Job summary

Nashua Community College seeks a Nursing Simulation Lab educator to develop lab curricula and patient simulations, and to teach in the Nursing Program, coordinating simulations for clinical groups.

The role reports to the Department Chair of the Nursing Department and requires a Master’s degree in Nursing (or related field) with six years of nursing education or related experience; NH RN licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of teaching experience in nursing, two years supervising students or personnel in educational activities or academic program administration.
• Complete knowledge of teaching methods and classroom/lab management.
• Ability to supervise professional instructional staff and collaborate in program development.

Responsibilities

• Teaches/assists laboratory course schedules in the Simulation Lab for the Nursing Program.
• Manages and sets up patient simulations for clinical groups and courses.
• Maintains records of student progress and communicates with course coordinators.
