Job summary

Robert Morris University is seeking a Nursing Simulation Education Specialist to design, conduct, and debrief nursing simulations in the RISE Center, ensuring adherence to INACSL standards. The role involves orienting participants to simulator features and maintaining comprehensive training records.

You will partner with faculty and staff on simulation planning, scheduling, and supply management to support student growth and program accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing Education is required.
• PhD or DNP is preferred.
• CHSE preferred or expected within two years of hire.
• BLS/ACLS/ATLS or Pediatric Life Support instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and debrief nursing simulations following INACSL standards.
• Orient participants to simulator features before each scenario.
• Maintain training records and schedules; ensure accreditation readiness.
• Partner with the RISE Center team, admins, and faculty on simulation planning and delivery.

• Proficiency in Google Office Suite, Microsoft Office, and iPad-based simulation technologies.
