Job summary

Carrington College in Reno, NV seeks a Simulation Coordinator to manage daily operations of the simulation center, oversee equipment maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate scheduling, collaborate with faculty, supervise staff, support curriculum integration, and manage inventory and budgets to enable high-quality patient-simulation experiences.

Evening or weekend shifts may be required; strong communication, leadership, and technical troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or BSN with waiver acceptable.
• Active Nevada RN license.
• One year direct patient care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the general operation of the simulation laboratory/center to provide diverse patient simulation experiences.
• Act as the primary contact for scheduling all medical center, university schools, departments, and external clients using the simulation center.
• Coordinate workflow between departments and oversee maintenance/repair of simulation equipment.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and maintain the laboratory to meet standards.
• Collaborate with faculty to design, plan, implement, and schedule simulation activities and curricula.
