Crestview Court in Cedar Hill, Texas seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to support the Director of Nursing in directing daily nursing operations and ensuring quality patient care in a regulated long-term care setting. A current state license, leadership能力, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise day-to-day nursing care in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure treatments, medications, and care plans are delivered per physician orders.
• Participate in evaluations, disciplinary actions, and adherence to Hiring and Retention Manual.
• Lead weekly/monthly committees and ensure documentation and reporting per policies.
• Notify attending physicians and families of significant changes in patient health.
• Function as Team Leader and role model; coordinate nursing staff activities.
• Ensure patient safety and routine in-servicing of Patient/resident Care Management Systems.
• Contribute to orientation and professional development of nursing staff.
