Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (LVN or RN) to support and manage Nursing Services. The role ensures adherence to federal, state, and facility standards and assumes clinical operations in the Director's absence.

Responsibilities include coordinating resident care plans, guiding nursing staff, participating in admissions decisions, and supporting daily operations to maintain compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license in practice state required.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for the total care of each resident in alignment with physician orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practice.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents as needed.
• Participates in daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or concerns.
• Ensures compassionate, quality care and adequate staff coverage, cleanliness, and maintenance of resident function.
