Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Current RN license is required.

• Active CPR certification is required.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in creating, implementing, and monitoring policies and practices relevant to nursing care.
• Helps set departmental goals, establish priorities, and allocate resources for nursing operations.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local regulations and institutional standards.
• Provides leadership support to the Director of Nursing and Health Care Administrator.
• Supervises nursing personnel, including scheduling, delegating, monitoring performance, and training.
• Proposes new policies or revisions to improve nursing services.
• Participates in staff meetings and facilitates communication between leadership and staff.
• Acts as a resource and guidance for nursing staff.
