Job summary
WindsorMeade Williamsburg is seeking a Nurse Manager to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing Nursing Services, supervise Nursing Supervisors, and direct Nursing Services in the absence of the Director. The role requires an RN license (Virginia) and CPR/AED certification, with 5+ years of licensed nursing experience and at least 3 years in supervision.
The position is full-time with a daytime schedule (8:00am–4:30pm) and on-call duties for holidays and some weekends, including
Qualifications
- Must hold RN license and CPR/AED certification.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with diploma or degree.
- 5+ years of licensed nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Nursing in managing Nursing Services.
- Oversee clinical operations and supervise Nursing Supervisors.
- Direct Nursing Services in the Director's absence.
- Review and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Lead QA and process improvement initiatives (QAPI).
- Attend meetings, interview staff, and review clinical information for applicants.
