Job summary
Pinnacle Living, based in Richmond, VA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Director of Nursing, oversee clinical operations, and supervise Nursing Supervisors. The role directs Nursing Services in the Director's absence and ensures resident care quality and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will hold a Virginia RN license, CPR/AED certification, 5+ years of licensed nursing experience (3+ years supervisory preferred), and a track record in policy development,
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or degree.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- 5+ years of licensed nursing experience; minimum 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Director of Nursing in all areas of Nursing Services management and acts as Acting Director in their absence.
- Oversees clinical operations and conducts daily rounds for resident status, environment, and safety.
- Reviews, develops, and revises policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Evaluates nursing practice to ensure adherence to policies and federal/state regulations.
- Maintains open communication with residents, families, staff, and volunteers.
