Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to lead and optimize nursing operations on a clinical unit. You will collaborate with the Clinical Manager to allocate resources, supervise staff, and ensure safe, compassionate care in line with current standards of practice.

Responsibilities include developing PI plans, evaluating staff performance, and leading councils or task forces.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with BSN preferred or higher education and leadership experience.
• Experience in performance improvement, regulatory standards, and budget oversight.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative leadership with Clinical Manager to drive outcomes.
• Provide staff feedback, evaluations, and disciplinary guidance as needed.
• Support patient safety, staff competency, and ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate with physicians and other disciplines to ensure efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and regulatory compliance efforts.
