Job summary

Sheridan Memorial seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Services at our Critical Access Hospital. You will oversee day-to-day nursing and clinical staff, help maintain staff schedules, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate is an MT RN with leadership experience, strong administrative and communication skills, a high school diploma,

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RN in Montana.
• Prefer at least two (2) years in a Nursing supervisor or administrative position.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and administrative skills to achieve organizational goals.
• Must be highly motivated, dependable, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current BLS (AHA or equivalent); ACLS and/or PALS preferred or required within a defined timeframe for hospital settings.
• TNCC certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, coordinating and directing Nursing Services for the Critical Access Hospital while maintaining high-quality patient care.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day nursing and clinical support staff.
• Will assist in maintaining the schedule of the staff.
• Will assist in providing services in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs.
