Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to lead nursing teams, manage personnel and budgets, and drive performance improvement within the unit. The role emphasizes professional autonomy and shared decision-making in patient care.

Responsibilities include staff evaluations, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with the Clinical Manager to optimize throughput and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years in clinical nursing practice. One (1) year leadership/charge role preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty is required within 6 months of eligibility.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI plan initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Provides staff with evaluations and feedback; supports discipline as appropriate.
• Collaborates to ensure patient satisfaction targets are achieved.
• Manages staffing hours and model of patient care delivery to maximize resources.
• Coordinates nursing care with other disciplines and ensures regulatory standards compliance.
