Envive Healthcare in Beech Grove, Indiana, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical operations, supervise onboarding and training of nursing staff, and ensure optimal patient care across shifts.

The ADON will monitor budgets, conduct staff evaluations, coordinate schedules, and uphold federal, state, and local healthcare regulations while maintaining documentation accuracy and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard new nurses and assign trainers.
• Create schedules to ensure adequate coverage for every shift.
• Coach nurses to improve performance and address disciplinary issues.
• Monitor expenses to keep within budget.
• Conduct staff meetings to discuss patient status.
• Perform employee evaluations to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Make rounds to assess patient status and nursing care.
• Ensure patient records are accurate and up to date.
