Job summary

Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, is seeking a visionary nursing leader to support the Chief Nursing Officer. The role directs nursing practice on unit level, ensures 24/7 coverage, and drives high-quality, safe patient care across designated areas.

You will mentor staff, coordinate assessments, planning, and evaluation of nursing services, and collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize resources and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
• Education: Academic degree in nursing; preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Experience: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the CNO in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice.
• Ensure 24/7 responsibility for designated areas and safe, high-quality patient care.
