Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management, Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an experienced NURSING SECRETARY for Oak Forest Health & Rehab Center. The role provides secretarial support to the nursing department, manages supplies and records, and assists with MDS quarterlies and care plans in a computer system.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, has clerical/computer knowledge, is reliable, and treats patients and staff with kindness and respect. CNA certification is preferred; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Some clerical/computer knowledge required.
• Willing to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
• Ability to work and cooperate with other employees.
• Kind and respectful to patients, staff, and visitors.
• C.N.A. certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures quality care by providing secretarial assistance to the nursing department.
• Provides supplies and equipment and maintenance of records related to supplies.
• Assists with entering MDS’s quarterlies, and care plans into computer.
• Completes CNA’s work schedule and assures adequate coverage.
• Stocks lab office and each nurse’s station with supplies.
• Performs employee drug screening.
• Helps with restorative nursing as needed.
• Assists with activities as needed.
