Job summary

Liberty Senior Living in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Nursing Secretary for full-time, day shift. You will support clinical staff with scheduling, filing, and charting, while maintaining organized labs and supplies.

The role includes stocking nursing stations, assisting with onboarding and patient transport, scanning reports, and performing routine clerical duties. A CNA preferred and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• Preferred CNA in state of practice.
• High school graduate.
• Some clerical/computer knowledge.
• Willing to perform routine repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work with others and be respectful.
• Wears designated uniform and maintains neat appearance.
• Reads and follows personnel, department, and facility policies.
• Attends in-service trainings and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Completes clinical staff work schedule and assures adequate coverage under direction of DON.
• Stocks Lab Office and keeps organized and neat.
• Performs employee drug screening as delegated by DON.
• Stocks each nurse's station with supplies, assuring organization and neatness.
• Stock supplements and enteral feeding appropriately as needed.
• Scans reports into patient charts, including M.D. orders as assigned.
• Monitors daily lab reports and assures reports are seen by Nursing.
• Relieves reception periodically.
• Assists with onboarding and patient transport as needed.
• Assists with filing and other duties as assigned.
