Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to manage staffing and scheduling duties according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to DNS for excessive tardiness or absenteeism per policy.
• Schedule modified work duties per restrictions and policy.
• Complete nursing department employee records upon hiring, reclassification, or discharge.
• Assist with forms (leave requests, time cards) for scheduling.
• Prepare monthly nursing schedules to ensure unit coverage.
• Coordinate variances with the DNS and post work schedules.
• Assist in filing designated reports per policy and procedures.
• Respond to staffing and scheduling inquiries from employees and applicants.
