Job summary

Amerita is hiring a Nursing Coordinator Supervisor to supervise nursing coordinators, manage patient scheduling, and oversee delivery tickets for nurse billing. The role combines leadership with hands-on scheduling and documentation tasks, including POT submission and note retrieval in line with state regulations.

The position is hybrid with on-site training at pharmacies, offering a daytime schedule and weekly rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing scheduling experience in home care or home infusion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with all levels of management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision and support to nursing coordinators to ensure scheduling accuracy and compliance with policy.
• Performs all nursing coordinator functions, including patient scheduling, creation of delivery tickets, and POT submission/retrieval.
• Monitors coordinator workflow queues, schedules, clinician visit logs, and documentation for timeliness and accuracy.
• Assists in training new nursing coordinators and provides ongoing coaching and guidance.
• Escalates employee performance or compliance issues to the Regional Director of Nursing as appropriate.
• Ensures POTs and delivery tickets are submitted and processed within required timeframes.
• Collaborates with nurse managers and pharmacy operations to resolve scheduling and documentation issues.

Position Details

Hybrid position with remote work and training on-site at pharmacies.

Schedule:

8am-6pm with a WE rotation

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision and support to nursing coordinators to ensure scheduling accuracy and compliance with policy


• Performs all nursing coordinator functions, including patient scheduling, creation of delivery tickets, and submission/retrieval of POTs


• Monitors coordinator workflow queues, schedules, clinician visit logs, and documentation for timeliness and accuracy

• Maintains effective communication with coordinators, nurse managers, regional directors of nursing, and pharmacy staff to support patient care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent


• Minimum 2 years’ nursing scheduling experience in home care or home infusion


• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of nursing coordination activities to include scheduling of subcontracted home health agencies, as well as Amerita nurses


• Leadership skills, independent decision‑making abilities, able to be resourceful and self‑reliant, drive to learn desired


• Good organizational and time management skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Percentage of Travel: 0-25%


• Driving Position: No

**To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders). kneeling, crouching, stooping, and typing on a keyboard with fingers. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs**
