Job summary

Warde Senior Living is seeking a Nursing Scheduler to support the nursing team through efficient staff scheduling, workforce coordination, and administrative support. This role helps maintain appropriate staffing levels and smooth day-to-day operations on a trusted senior care campus.

You will develop schedules in advance, coordinate coverage, communicate updates to leadership, and assist with reporting and records to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of scheduling/administrative experience in healthcare.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and post nursing staff schedules at least two weeks in advance.
• Coordinate staffing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and vacancies.
• Communicate scheduling concerns and updates to nursing leadership.
• Update staffing schedules and unit communication boards as changes occur.
• Coordinate agency staffing support when needed.
• Track and maintain accurate scheduling records.
• Assist with staffing-related reporting and administrative tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the nursing management team.
• Help ensure adequate staffing levels to support quality resident care.
• Participate in occasional weekend scheduling responsibilities as needed.
