Job summary

Regal Care at Glenridge in Medford, MA is seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our nursing team.

The Scheduler will coordinate and manage staffing for RNs and CNAs, ensure full coverage, track attendance and time-off requests, and communicate changes to staff.

This role requires prior scheduling experience in skilled nursing, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with scheduling software.

• Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
• Coordinate with department managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Manage employee time-off requests and schedule adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding scheduling changes and updates.
• Monitor and track attendance, lateness, and overtime.
• Address scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Collaborate with HR to onboard new staff and maintain up-to-date employee records.
