National Health Care Associates (Eastside affiliate) seeks a Nursing Scheduler to help maintain optimal staffing and high-quality care at our Bangor, ME facility. You will coordinate shifts, manage last-minute changes, and collaborate with nursing leaders to meet regulatory and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Experience as a scheduler in a Healthcare or Long-Term Care setting is highly valued.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities are essential.
• Ability to handle dynamic scheduling and last-minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is optimally staffed 7 days per week - 24 hours per day.
• Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules considering workload and regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to optimize staffing mix and budget impact.
• Handle scheduling conflicts, last-minute adjustments, and replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, PTO, vacations, and schedule changes.
• Communicate schedule changes effectively to nursing staff.
