Job summary

NKC Health in Missouri seeks a Supervisor for Professional Practice Evaluation & Risk Management to lead OPPE/FPPE processes and drive risk-informed patient safety initiatives. The role requires a strong nursing leadership background and extensive quality data experience, with CMS/TJC compliance knowledge.

The candidate will oversee nursing peer review, investigate internal events, and analyze data to identify safety improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of relevant progressive, clinical work experience.
Strong nursing background and quality data experience required.
Strong working knowledge of CMS and TJC regulatory compliance requirements related to quality, risk management and medical staff.

Responsibilities

Leads risk management efforts in the field of nursing peer review.
Assists with review and investigation of internal occurrence reports and root cause analysis and other patient safety event reviews.
Analyzes quality and risk management data to identify opportunities to improve patient safety, and will implement proactive risk management projects to promote patient safety and risk reduction.
Strong orientation to quality and other data systems and a strong background in nursing leadership.
Present projects to the Medical Staff and NKC Health staff.
The position reports to the Director, Risk Management.
