The Jasper of Mansfield, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Medication Aide to support residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting in Mansfield, Texas.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Aide in the state of Texas.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards; may supervise CNAs.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support to residents.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and daily activities; ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, urine tests; document intake and outputs.

Medication Aide Responsibilities Include

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
