Job summary

The Waterford at Hartford, a Sonida Senior Living community in Hartford, WI, is looking for a licensed Medication Aide to support residents in independent living, assisted living and memory care. You will administer medications as ordered and supervise CNAs as directed, ensuring resident safety and comfort.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support care plans. The role requires a valid Wisconsin Medication Aide license.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin license as Medication Aide required and active.
• Ability to safely administer medications per physician orders.
• Experience with resident care and assisting with activities of daily living welcome.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards; supervise CNAs as directed.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and provide personal care.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
