NURSING PROGRAM MANAGER

The Contra Costa Health Services Behavioral Health Division, in partnership with consumers, families, staff and community-based agencies, provides welcoming and integrated services for mental health, substance abuse and other needs that promote wellness, recovery and resiliency while respecting the complexity and diversity of the people we serve.
Behavioral Health is recruiting to fill a Nursing Program Manager position that will be responsible for clinical quality oversight for the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit, A3 (Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime) Crisis Services, Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and the new Rapid Access Wellness Clinic.

Minimum Qualifications
License and Certification Required: Candidates must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a current, valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing AND a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or CPR certification issued by the American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider).
Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree in nursing, hospital or healthcare administration, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university. For Professional Development assignments, a Bachelor’s degree in education may be substituted for the BSN.
Experience: Four years of full-time experience, or its equivalent, as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital, community mental health system, or correctional medical setting, two years of which must have been as a Charge Nurse or in a similar supervisory capacity. One year of the required experience must have been in the specialty area of the assigned program.

The Board of Supervisors has authorized the following future salary increase: 5% on July 1, 2025.
