Chestnut Hill College seeks an Academic Advisor for the Nursing Program in Philadelphia to provide comprehensive academic advising and student-success support from enrollment through graduation.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing Student Success, the Advisor collaborates with nursing faculty, Student Success, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other offices to develop academic plans, monitor progress, and guide students through program requirements and policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license required.
• Professional clinical nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two years in academic advising or related field.
• Commitment to student success and supporting diverse students.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic advising to nursing program students.
• Assist with academic planning, course sequencing, registration, and degree requirements.
• Develop and maintain academic plans supporting timely completion.
• Monitor progress, outreach for barriers, and refer to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain advising records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty, Student Success, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other offices.
