The position emphasizes patient advocacy, staffing optimization, and collaboration with physicians, discharge planners, and support services to ensure seamless patient care and throughput.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• ADN is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assumes administrative designee on behalf of hospital administration.
• Responds to urgent administrative needs, investigations, and emergencies.
• Interprets goals, policies and procedures; provides clinical expertise.
• Provides staffing guidance and administrative activities to nurse managers and directors.
• Collaborates to optimize bed availability and patient throughput.
• Communicates with nursing leadership and department managers.
• Performs other related work as required.
