The position focuses on throughput, staffing, budget management, and engagement, including interdisciplinary rounds and collaboration with physicians, therapists, case managers, and behavioral health specialists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing with a BSN.
• At least 2 years in a clinical nursing role.
• Current Virginia RN licensure; BLS-HCP required; de-escalation training within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour operational leadership for the nursing unit.
• Ensure safe, healthy environments and support patient and staff engagement.
• Lead daily throughput, patient experience rounds, and staff engagement rounds.
• Monitor unit quality, patient experience, and budget/expenses.
• Coordinate staffing and schedule to meet unit needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and behavioral health professionals.
