The role requires a nursing leadership background with an active Illinois RN license, BLS, and a magnet-certified specialty. Strong budgeting, data analysis, and change management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree or enrollment within 1 year of completion.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Current clinical license in the state of Illinois.
• Magnet-recognized certification for specialty area.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments, divisions, programs, services and/or locations with 24/7 accountability.
• Provide supervision to team members, ensuring competencies and conducting performance reviews.
• Recommend department goals to leadership and track progress with regular updates.
• Ensure policies comply with Joint Commission and regulatory standards; update processes as needed.
• Coordinate patient care by addressing age-specific needs and aligning resources.
• Handle escalations and manage multiple priorities effectively.
