Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent preferred.
• Current RN license in the state you will be working.
• Specialized infection prevention training through accredited education.
• 3–4 years recent nursing experience with administrative/supervisory competency.
• 1 year management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with patient transfers as needed.
• Documentation and records maintenance in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods and support the Director of Nursing.
• Promote collaboration with physicians and other health care disciplines.
• Lead infection prevention and control program and committee activities.
• Oversee staffing needs, schedule rounds, and ensure safe, quality resident care.
• Coordinate admissions, bed assignments, and care plan meetings as required.
• Investigate incidents, document actions, and implement corrective measures.
• Communicate events and changes to leadership and staff; log inquiries and follow up.
