Genesis Administrative Services LLC in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

You will oversee clinical operations, participate in budgeting for the nursing department, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policies, state and federal regulations, while maintaining a patient- and family-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
• Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; at least 2 years in nursing supervision in long-term care.
• Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
• On-call availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Responsible for the quality of clinical operations of nursing units, including policy, practice standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate and control the budget for the nursing department.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and mentor staff to achieve top-of-licence practice.
• Assist with nurse staffing including performance evaluations, interviews and orientation.
