The role requires a BSN (MSN preferred), current NYS RN license, 6–10 years of nursing experience and 5–7 years in leadership. You will drive staffing decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote ethical, evidence-based practice across departments.

Qualificações

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• New York State RN license required.
• 6-10 years nursing experience and 5-7 years leadership/management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and manages operations and patient care in all areas of facility in the absence of leadership.
• Provides leadership to supervisors and team members by communicating and guiding toward achieving facility objectives.
• Communicates, builds consensus, and guides departments toward achieving hospital objectives.
• Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Maintains a professional work environment that fosters team member respect, engagement, accountability and optimal patient outcomes.
• Promotes evidence-based, ethical and compassionate practice.
• Provides direction and guidance to patient care unit team members and supervisors in clinical and operational concerns in the absence of leadership.
• May provide input into performance reviews, hiring, promotions and corrective actions.
