Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nursing management to develop methods, techniques and analytical approach to patient care.
• Communicates, builds consensus, and guides team members toward achieving department objectives.
• Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Provides direction and guidance to patient care unit team members during assigned shift.
• Educates team members in new and existing department procedures and systems (information systems, fiscal responsibility, etc.).
• Provides input on department budget allocations to nursing management.
• Ensures adherence to the established care delivery model and regulatory standards.
