Job summary

Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, Utah, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to help the DON run day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring care quality, compliance, and staffing alignment.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee care delivery, coaching and discipline, and ensure care plans and documentation are current, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed in Utah.
• Minimum one year of successful nursing experience in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and discipline.
• Oversee daily nursing care delivery across all units.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Address and resolve clinical issues such as falls, wounds, infections.
• Help manage staffing schedules and coverage.
