Job summary

Liberty Health in Roxboro, NC is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care. The role includes staff scheduling, oversight of nursing records, infection control, and liaison with staff and physicians.

The position requires NC RN licensure, at least two years of experience (preferably in skilled nursing), and willingness to be on call. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NC RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• On-call rotation willingness.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff effectively.
• Familiar with facility procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of a work schedule for all nursing personnel.
• Visits patients to ensure maximum care and communicates with staff and physicians about daily nursing operations.
• Assures the best patient care possible by supervising and directing nursing personnel.
• Serves as a liaison for staff nursing and nurse management.
• Monitors the Quality Assurance Program of the facility.
• Assigns duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and supervises and evaluates work performance.
• Supervises the accuracy and maintenance of all nursing records and medical treatments.
• Acts as Infection Control Nurse for facility.
• Monitors decubiti weekly and reviews monthly decubiti report.
• Handles disciplinary problems involving the nursing personnel in the facility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
