Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Roxboro, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team.

This position involves directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delegating tasks, and monitoring patient conditions to ensure quality geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license from NC Board of Nursing.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Willing to work as charge nurse during emergencies to assure coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients and follow doctors’ orders.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing services on unit under RN supervision.
• Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms or adverse changes.
• Notify attending physician in emergencies and update orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
