The ideal candidate will hold a four-year degree, a North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator license, and proven supervisory experience with budgeting and financial reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Prefer a four-year degree and a minimum of four years supervisory experience in a Nursing Facility.
• Valid N.C. license to operate as a Nursing Home Administrator.
• Knowledge of personnel administration and supervision of all staff.
• Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, Medicare/Medicaid rules.
• Ability to promote public relations and interpret financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Directs Facility Department Directors and ensures staff perform their jobs appropriately.
• Establishes and maintains personnel and department policies; enforces procedures.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards for Nursing Facility operation.
• Interviews and selects competent personnel to supervise all departments.
• Participates in in-service training for supervisory staff.
• Prepares an annual facility budget and reviews monthly financial status.
• Represents the Nursing Facility with agencies and third-party payers.
