Legacy Nursing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in organizing and managing the nursing services of the facility.

The role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating QA activities, and ensuring compliance with policies. The ADON participates in resident care planning and staff development while observing HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Formación

• RN or LPN license required.
• Management or supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise nursing care and staff alongside the DON.
• Participate in QA meetings (daily, monthly/quarterly) and safety committees.
• Assist in nursing program management, infection control, and incident reporting.
• Schedule, delegate, and direct work; prepare staff schedules.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; address staffing concerns.
